How a signing goes

  1. Confirm. I call the borrower to confirm time, location, ID and anyone who needs to sign.
  2. Prepare. Documents are printed on legal and letter paper and reviewed for missing pages before I leave.
  3. Sign. I walk borrowers through each document so they know what they are signing. Loan terms questions go to the lender.
  4. Return. A complete quality check, then drop-off or scanbacks the same day, with a status update to title or escrow.

Do you really take appointments at any hour?

Yes. Evenings, early mornings, weekends and holidays. For last-minute signings, calling is faster than texting.

What do signers need to bring?

A current, government-issued photo ID for every signer, such as a driver’s license, state ID or passport. Leave documents unsigned until I arrive; signing must happen in front of the notary.

Can you explain my loan terms or give legal advice?

No. Notaries can’t give legal advice or explain loan terms. I’ll tell you what each document is and where to sign; questions about rates or terms go to your lender or attorney.

Can you print my loan documents?

Yes. Title and signing companies can email packages and I’ll print them on legal and letter paper as needed.

How is the travel fee calculated?
